It’s Been a couple of years since our pocket rocket joined the band, but unfortunately our gig at Dartmouth Music Festival on Saturday night was her last as a full time member of Dodgey Practice.
On the night that she auditioned, her voice really blew us away, along with great harmonies and she really fit into the band well – we did have one concern though… that her youth and energetic personality would lead to the shout of “Jägerbomb” at the first gig and we’d have to quietly usher her off stage so we could and carry on in our usual professional manner!
Our fears were unfounded – never far from a pint of Cider, Stacey has been a great addition to the band and we look forward to seeing her in the future.
Stacey:
It’s with a sad heart that I say goodbye to Dodgey Practice. There’s been many laughs, many pints of cider and although I’m moving on, I’ve had the best time and I couldn’t have asked for a better bunch of musicians to work with over the past few years.
I just want to say a big thank you to everyone I’ve met through the band for all the fun we’ve had and friendships I’ve made.
Lots of love.
Stacey
We’ve already got exciting news to announce, so watch this space to see who will be replacing Stacey to complete the Dodgey Practice lineup and make sure you get to The Spinning Wheel on Paignton Seafront @ 9:30pm on 11 June for our next gig.
